The Burrows & Hare candle range is made in England. Black Pomegranate opens with ripe fruit and dark spice and deepens as it burns — complex without being heavy. Revelation is a woody, resinous blend with amber and musk that works particularly well in living spaces and bedrooms. Black Oud is drier and more austere, with a resinous quality that lingers long after the flame is out. The Natural Reed Diffuser in Black Oud brings the same profile through a room without flame, running continuously.

Each candle is poured from natural wax into a clean vessel suited to reuse once the wax is spent. Burn times are generous — measured in weeks of regular evening use rather than a single sitting. Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn for an even, clean flame and maximum life.
