FullCount

FULLCOUNT — Japanese selvedge denim from Osaka, woven on vintage shuttle looms in 13.7oz Zimbabwe cotton.

Founded in 1992 by Mikiharu Tsujita, FULLCOUNT was the first Japanese mill to weave denim from premium Zimbabwe cotton — a long-staple fibre that softens with wear and ages with the body. The brand belongs to the so-called Osaka Five, the small group of mills that built modern Japanese denim's reputation for craft, weight and authenticity.

What we stock

The 0105 Wide Straight Jean and 2102 13.7oz Type II Denim Jacket sit at the heart of our FULLCOUNT range, alongside the 2015 Denim Chore Jacket, the 4894 Western Shirt, six-panel denim caps and selvedge tenugui. Every piece is woven, cut and sewn in Japan.

Fit, sizing and wear-in

FULLCOUNT denim arrives raw or one-wash and is intentionally cut roomy through the leg. Most customers find their usual UK waist true to size; the fabric will tighten slightly on first wash and soften over several months of regular wear. Our team is happy to advise on sizing and breaking-in raw denim — visit us in the Oxford and Marlow shops or get in touch.
