East Pacific Trade was founded in 2019 by Jai Baek in Seoul,
South Korea—shaped by years of designing shoes for brands
like DC, HUF, Creative Recreation, and Gourmet. But this
wasn’t about chasing trends or big logos. It was about building
something that actually fits how we live. Comfortable. Clean.
Built right. No hype, no flash—just honest shoes grounded
in street culture and made to last.


The name says where we’re from, but also where we connect.
Seoul, LA, Tokyo, New York — a loop of shared ideas and
movement. EPT exists in that rhythm: where design travels,
culture adapts, and meaning sticks. It’s not about standing
out—it’s about showing up, quietly and with purpose.
