Grenson
Grenson was founded by William Green who began making men's boots with his mother in Rushden, Northamptonshire. In 1866 he founded his own company and Green and Son became 'Grenson'. Grenson's first factory was opened in 1874 and after 20 years, in 1895, the company moved to a larger factory where Grenson shoes - famous for its handmade brogues and Chelsea boots - are still produced.
