Leather Lotion

Leather Lotion occupies a specific position in the Saphir Médaille d'Or care hierarchy — it is the regular-maintenance conditioner, lighter than Rénovateur and without the cleaning action of the Leather Cleanser. Applied between polishing sessions, it keeps leather supple and prevents the progressive drying that causes cracking at flex points in regularly worn shoes.

The water base means no wax or oil residue is left on the surface — the leather can be polished immediately after application without waiting for the conditioner to fully absorb. This makes it practical for those who maintain their shoes quickly between sessions: a light application of Leather Lotion before the main polish removes surface dryness and ensures the polish applies evenly, without streaking across dry patches of leather.
