1925 Creme - Medium Brown

The 1925 Creme represents Saphir's founding formulation — a wax-cream polish developed in Thiviers, France, in 1925 and unchanged in its essential character since. The combination of beeswax, carnauba wax, and colour-matched pigments delivers what no modern synthetic polish can replicate: a product that conditions the leather at the same time as it colours and protects the surface.

Medium Brown is the most-used colourway in the 1925 Creme range for the British market — appropriate for the full register of English medium-brown leather from light chestnut through to standard tan-brown. It is the colourway for Derby brogues in natural calf, Chelsea boots in English grain leather, and the standard country shoe. The shade is intentionally neutral in its warmth — neither orange-pulled nor grey — for maximum versatility across all standard English brown leathers.
