Garstang - Caramel

The Garstang is made using caramel oiled shoulder leather from C.F. Stead's tannery in Leeds — one of Britain's oldest and most respected leather suppliers. The hide is shoulder grade, oiled during the tanning process for a leather that darkens slightly with wear and develops a patina particular to the wearer.

Construction is blake stitched, which gives the boot a cleaner welt profile and allows for professional resoling when the time comes. The sole is a British-made Dainite Logger — a dense, durable rubber designed for grip and longevity across varied terrain.

• Remove surface dirt after each wear with a soft brush or dry cloth

• Apply a leather cream or conditioner periodically to keep the upper supple and prevent cracking

• Use cedar shoe trees to maintain the shape during storage

• For water or salt marks, clean gently with a damp cloth and re-condition once dry
