Product Details

The Snow Peak Kitchen Scissors Set brings the same medical-grade titanium standard applied to the mugs and sporks to a pair of kitchen scissors. The blades are ground and set for food preparation tasks: fresh herbs, raw meat, vacuum-sealed packaging, and the small cutting jobs that a camp knife handles poorly. Titanium blades do not corrode in contact with acidic foods or in dishwasher conditions, and they do not transfer a metallic note to what they cut.

The weight saving over equivalent stainless scissors is meaningful in a camp context — these are blades that justify a place in the pack rather than being left behind. The sheath keeps the tips protected during storage and the edges maintained through the pack contents. • Dishwasher safe — titanium is inert and will not corrode or leach in the dishwasher

• Avoid abrasive cleaners or steel wool — these will scratch the anodized finish but will not affect function

• Rinse immediately after use with coffee, tea, or acidic drinks to prevent residue build-up on the anodized coating

• The anodized colour finish may gradually lighten with prolonged dishwasher use — hand washing preserves the colour longer

• Store dry — titanium is corrosion-proof but storing sealed when damp can cause odour
