George James draws its identity from African heritage, coastal energy, and the restless creativity that jazz captures better than words — a brand that moves between surf culture and sailing tradition, continent and coastline. More than a year of sampling went into the Jazz Logo Cap before the brief was resolved: an unstructured five-panel that sits mid-profile without imposing and feels right from the moment it is first worn.

The shell is 100% cotton ripstop — a fabric with a faint crosshatch grid visible at close range, distinct from plain twill in both surface and handle. The unstructured construction holds its crown without an inner frame: the shape comes from the weave and the wear, not from padding or stiffening. The embroidered Jazz Logo on the front panel is restrained in scale — present as a mark of authorship rather than a statement.

The leather strap at the back adjusts to fit to 61cm and will soften and darken with regular use. The brim arrives flat — wear it as it lands or curve it gradually over time. Both the ripstop shell and the leather develop a surface that becomes more personal the longer the cap is worn.
