1925 Creme - 910 Parisian Brown

The 1925 Creme represents Saphir's founding formulation — a wax-cream polish developed in Thiviers, France, in 1925 and unchanged in its essential character since. The combination of beeswax, carnauba wax, and colour-matched pigments delivers what no modern synthetic polish can replicate: a product that conditions the leather at the same time as it colours and protects the surface.

Parisian Brown is a distinctly French colourway — warmer than the English medium brown associated with Jermyn Street, and deeper than a standard cognac. The shade takes its reference from the antique leathers seen in Parisian shoe workshops: a warm, golden-toned brown with complexity under different lights. It serves shoes that sit between medium brown and cognac in the colour spectrum, maintaining the warmth of the leather without pulling towards orange.
