Shoe Polish - Wax Yellow

Saphir Médaille d'Or Pâte de Luxe is the hard-wax complement to the 1925 Creme range. Wax Yellow sits at the specialist end of the Pâte de Luxe colour spectrum — a shade for specific leather colourways that have no standard brown or neutral substitute.

Yellow leather is a niche but established presence in quality footwear — from brightly dyed fashion shoes to the natural yellow-tan of some full-grain working leathers. The Pâte de Luxe Wax Yellow maintains the colour of yellow and golden-tan leathers that would grey or fade without a colour-matched product. It is also used to extend and warm up pale cognac shades on antique or aged leathers when the original colour has begun to fade from the surface.

• Leave for 2–3 minutes, then buff with a natural horsehair brush in long strokes

• Build colour and shine in thin layers — do not apply heavily in a single coat

• Polish between wears to maintain colour saturation and surface protection

• Keep the tin sealed and away from direct heat to prevent the wax from drying
