Shoe Shining Cotton Cloth

The polishing cloth is the most fundamental tool in the shoe care kit — the item that touches the shoe at every stage of the routine, from applying Rénovateur through to the final Mirror Gloss buff. The Saphir Shoe Shining Cotton Cloth is 100% cotton in a fine, tight weave that holds polish correctly and does not leave fibres on the polished surface during the final buff.

The standard cloth is sized for a two-to-three finger hold — the technique used for applying cream polish across the toe box and waist, and for the damp-cloth water-polishing method required for Mirror Gloss work. It is washable at 30°C and reusable across multiple sessions; when it has absorbed sufficient product that it no longer applies cleanly, it is replaced. Having several clean cloths available is the single most practical change to any shoe care routine.
