Product Details

The Indigo C/N Cap is the Snow Peak headwear piece built from natural material and natural dye. The cotton-nylon blend is dyed with natural indigo in Japan — a dyeing process that builds colour in layers rather than applying a single surface coat. The black colourway is deep and even out of the bag, and it develops its own fading character over months of wear and washing. Each cap ages differently; that is the point.

The 6-panel structured crown sits close to the head without requiring adjustment every time it is put on. The brim curves gradually to the wearer's preference — firm enough to hold any position, flexible enough to take the shape that suits. Snow Peak uses cotton-nylon in this collection for the same reason it uses titanium in the camp tableware range: the material is appropriate to the object and appropriate to the duration of use.

• Iron on a low setting inside out if needed — avoid high heat on the nylon content of the fabric
