The Suva Hardshell Pocket Jacket W3 is Rains' most technical outer — a fully waterproof shell constructed from PU-coated polyester with sealed seams and no inner insulation. The construction is designed for the kind of heavy, sustained rain that lighter waterproofs are not built to handle. The exterior sheds water cleanly and wipes dry without effort.

The hood adjusts close without pulling the collar out of shape. A full-length front zip seals the coat against the elements; front pockets — including a chest-level pocket — provide practical carry capacity without breaking the clean exterior line. The shell is unlined, making it a layering piece rather than a standalone warm outer.
