Ultra-Light Umbrella

The Snow Peak Ultra-Light Umbrella is a product designed around one constraint: it needs to always be there when the rain arrives. The fibreglass shaft and ribs flex meaningfully under wind load — the umbrella bends rather than inverts or snaps in conditions that defeat metal-shaft alternatives. The canopy fabric is water-resistant and compact when folded, fitting into a pack side pocket without competing for space.

The weight is low enough to carry on every trip without leaving it at home on the basis that it probably won't be needed. Snow Peak applies its outdoor engineering sensibility to an everyday object: the result is an umbrella that belongs in a pack rather than an office doorway.
