The Veja Campo Suede in Nautico White — bovine suede from Rio Grande do Sul on a sugarcane EVA midsole.

Veja launched in Paris in 2004, redirecting the advertising budget into fairer production. The Campo takes its name from the Brazilian word for field — the open spaces of Rio Grande do Sul where the suede is sourced and the trainers are built. Nautico brings a deep navy to the suede upper, set against White at the sole. PFC-free water-repellent treatment. Made in Brazil.

Product Details

The Campo Suede uses bovine suede from Rio Grande do Sul, tanned without prohibited chemicals and finished with a PFC-free water-repellent coating. ChromeFree leather panels provide structure at the toe and heel.

The outsole is Amazonian rubber harvested from wild-growing trees. Sugar cane E.V.A. goes into the insole alongside Amazonian rubber, reducing fossil-fuel content in the construction. Lining is recycled polyester; laces organic cotton.

• Avoid wearing in wet or muddy conditions where possible
